Assistant Community Manager:

The Assistant Community Manager is responsible to lease apartments, retain residents, market the property, and handle administrative and financial responsibilities for the property. This position is responsible to oversee the property in the absence of the community manager and is designed to prepare individuals for a position as a community manager. An assistant community manager will be asked to assume greater responsibilities upon absorbing and applying knowledge of all aspects of property management as well as displaying maturity and good judgment.

The Floating Community Manager is fully accountable for both property operations, Honeytree and the Village on Hill Street. Leadership ability is a must, as the Community Manager is the leader of the site team. The purpose of the Community Manager is to effectively manage and coordinate activities and available resources in order to accomplish property, owner, and company objectives. These objectives will include maximizing occupancy and income levels, increasing property values, and minimizing property operational expenses while maintaining a quality product.

The Grounds Keeper/Punch Technician reports to the Property Manager under the supervision of the Service Supervisor and performs general maintenance and repair to ensure apartment units and other property facilities are in good working order. Responsibilities include diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) units; electrical appliances, outlets, and light fixtures; plumbing, carpentry, and locks. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting with preparing vacant apartment units for rental and also landscape and renovation projects.

The Leasing Manager’s primary job is to rent apartments, whether it’s to a new prospect or a current resident. The Leasing Manager will also be responsible to assist the community manager and assistant community manager as directed.
